Listening - I've been a Grey's fan from day one. I was firmly vested in Meredith, Christina, George, Alex & Izzy (that was only when she was in the Denny storyline). I stopped watching after Little Grey & Mark and the crash, just sayin'.
Loving - We Love EC: a group of people who love the Erin Condren Life Planners and decorating them with washi tape, stickers and very cool pens. Now as teachers we know a lot about good pens ;)
Thinking - Class work - I'm finishing up my last Spring class before a nice break for summer. I just have my last 3 assignments due this week & next, so that's all I've been thinking about. All classes offered at the start of the summer semester I've taken and when I tried to be proactive and asked to take a class from anther master's program I denied :( So I'll just get my TX GT instead!
Wanting - Perpetual fund: See Loving, lol.
Needing - Motivation: See Loving, lol. I just want to spend time making my planners pretty, such a waste of extra time, that I could be doing laundry, grading papers, etc.
Surprise - My Own Genius Hour I began following Joy Kirr over at My Own Genius Hour last summer when I wanted to delve more into this genius hour idea for my class this year. She's an awesome lady who teaches those weird kids, you know middle school kids ;) Anywho her blog has some great info for those wanting to know more about genius hour.

DeleteI love drooling over teacher planners & I always debate on whether to get a teacher's planner. I got one 2 years ago, but I'm always drawn to electronic planners, so I tired to use mine again this year, but still never did. Unfortunately it was a waste of $$ :( because I totally love my LP. It's addicting!

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting name. Is there a story behind it? I used to be a Grey's fan, but didn't stick with it after about 3 seasons. I do better with series through Netfix. My favorite has been Dexter. I little dark, but great characters.
Good luck with your classes. Taking classes at night and teaching all day isn't easy. Is it a good thing that you couldn't get into a class this summer? What is TX GT?

DeleteYes, there is a story ;) My mom was 8 months preggers and they were all sitting around watching tv, specifically the Six Million Dollar Man. A random character - an alien princess, landed on Earth and was trying to get back to her home planet. Her name was Darnee, or something like it. My sister & mom came up with the spelling of my name and that's how my obsession for all things entertaiment related started, lol!
Ooooo, I should've spelled that out, the TX GT is the Texas Gifted & Talented test where I'd be officially certified for GT/TAG etc. That's what I'm getting my Master's in, we so need it at our district ;)
